What a day! (:

March 29, 2009

This day was so crazy that I decided to make a post about it. :)

Let’s start with what I wasted my time on. Watching The Exorcist. I read about it a few times before and was told that it was the scariest movie of all time. I wanted to watch it so bad. I love watching horror movies.

So last night I found out my aunt’s patient gave her The Exorcist Trilogy. She had the original, too. Exorcist 1. From 1973, I think. I thought that since the first was so freaking scary, maybe I’ll enjoy it. So last night I asked her to play it so we can watch it along with my siblings. Then she says, “I don’t want to watch it. I heard it’s scary and we might not sleep well tonight. Maybe tomorrow.” I begged a couple of times but she still said no. :( Seeing as everyone was too scared to watch it, I looked at the other new DVDs to see which ones we could watch.

We tried 2 other DVDs, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Reader (I’m not sure if I got the names right but I don’t really care, haha.) but one was boring and the other had a dirty part and my aunt didn’t want us to see it. My siblings got bored and went to bed. My aunt fell asleep and I looked for something else to watch. I watched The Mummy Returns and a bit of I Am Legend then I got bored and went to bed. I couldn’t sleep in my aunt’s room so I moved upstairs. :P

Today…

I finally convinced everybody to watch The Exorcist! Yay! :D We watched the 2nd one because my uncle thought it was the first then when we realized it was the second one, my aunt replaced it with the first one. We watched the whole thing. We didn’t scream once, cried, crapped in our shorts or even felt afraid. It was boring. Seriously. And it was called ‘The scariest movie of all time’. Yeah right. I wasn’t scared at all. I was more scared when I was 6 and I watched It The Clown at my cousin’s house even after my parents forbid me to watch it. Maybe The Exorcist was the scariest movie of all time back when my mom was 7. And yes. It was.

Dinner Time

We had a random conversation started by yours truly. :) Here’s how it goes…

Hanna: Didn’t we have chicken like a week ago? Why do we keep having it?

Dad: There must be a lot of chicken in the world.

Hanna: Haha, a lot of chicken in the world.

Dad: It’s true. The more the chicken in the world, the often we get to eat it.

Mom: *hands me yogurt*

Hanna: Yay, yogurt! :)

Naomi: Yogurt tastes weird.

Hanna: Nah, you’re just fat.

James:

Hanna: Haha, that was actually funny.

Dad: So which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Hanna: The chicken.

James: The dinosaurs! The dinosaurs were here before the chickens.

Hanna: No, I think the cells came first. Dinosaurs came from cells.

James: Well where do cells come from? Dinosaurs!

Hanna: No, it’s the other way around.

James: What’s a cell?

Hanna: A cage.

Hanna/James:

Each day’s Difficult Mode

Then I go upstairs to continue playing a game I was playing. After a while, my mom calls me to have a talk. She bought me …bras. :P She tells me that she bought me a set. So she brings one out of the shopping bag and says, “Do you like this one?” It had colors on it and I don’t want to walk around with colors flashing out of my white school uniform (blouse) so I said, “No, I don’t like it.” Then she brings another out, and another and so on. They also have colors so I give the same response.

So she says, “Then what am I going to do with these?” and I say, “Give them to Naomi. Can’t you just return them?” And she says, “I can but I have to get something in exchange. I can’t get my money back. What will I get in exchange for these?” and I say, “Get some plain white bras.” And she says, “Sigh. Fine, maybe on Saturday.“ So I said, “Look, this is already difficult and seeing your sad face is just making it more difficult for me.” And she just sighs and says, “Okay.” no matter what I say. :P

Other things:

I have re-discovered Matchbox Twenty (great band).

My friend is having issues with her computer. Actually it’s her mom’s computer and it’s slow which is her problem. Then I told her to delete the files her mom doesn’t need and uninstall the programs her mom doesn’t use. Then she says there are a lot of files. Porn. Won’t mention her name but the story is just too good to be kept a secret.

I love my god forsaken family. :)

March23

March 23, 2009

I’ve been enjoying the new camera my mom bought for me since it’s been a long time since I last had a camera. (The other one’s charger is lost so I can’t use it until I find the charger.) Today I did something daring. I risked bringing my camera to school. I know it could get confiscated but I had something in the back of my mind screaming, “I know you’re cunning enough to get away with it!

In my school, we’re not allowed to bring any gadgets. Cellphones, cameras, laptops, etc. We’re not allowed to bring/wear a lot of things. But since our disciplinarian was moved to the Sophomore year, rules became less strict. It’s not that everyone follows the rules. Even when the disciplinarian was watching over the freshmen, my classmates still brought their cellphones with them to school and secretly texted, played music or took pictures in the bathroom, during recess when no teacher is around or during class when the teacher isn’t looking. Slick as we may be, the disciplinarian could sniff a cellphone a mile away so a lot were confiscated this year. More than 10, I think. He showed it to us a few weeks before he was moved to the next year level.

Anyway, I brought my camera with me and we took some pictures. Many of which I deleted because my classmates weren’t satisfied with how they looked in the pictures. Soon I just deleted everything since everyone argued about the pictures. A group wants to keep the pictures and another doesn’t. Conflict.

In our last period, (History Class) we were just checking the frequency of correct response to the Sophomores’ tests (from another school) and we all switched to other seats because our History teacher is a nice person and we tend to abuse his patience, haha. I sat at the seat in front of the last seat at the back but I was in the same row where I belong. Today was the day that we were going to check tests and the correct responses. Our history teacher was walking around the room. As my friend, Patrick, and I moved to the seats behind where we were sitting before, our history teacher sits on the arm rest of the seat in front of me. (where I was sitting previously) I wasn’t really checking. I was drawing and goofing off.

An idea suddenly popped into my head. I’ve never had a picture of my teacher before (that was taken by me) so why not take one now? This is the perfect opportunity. I’m sure he won’t notice. So I took my camera out of the bag and took a picture of my teacher from behind. Patrick noticed and we were laughing about it. :)
Behold. After taking one, I thought of taking another but he already walked to a different seat and I was afraid he might see it and take it. Even though I can just smile and hide it like how I usually smile when my teacher sees me doing something else.

Perhaps it’s time you guys should see where I hang out with my friends after school. Click and view here. It’s an Elementary school my friends and I pass by on the way home. There’s a basketball court and a waiting shed beside the school. If you notice the litter, it’s from huge platoon of children/students that come out after school and buy food outside then just throw their trash everywhere. :P That was taken in the waiting shed. I’m not in the image because I took it.

New poem

March 19, 2009

Another pornem. It’s a bunch of gibberish that doesn’t rhyme. I’m not sure, lol. You be the judge of that. My mind was tired and when I try to write poems when I’m tired, random thoughts come out. xD

Ready? Warning: It doesn’t rhyme. But not all poems rhyme. :P

I can’t think of any words
to describe emotions of this aching, broken heart.

Writing the tale of a polyamorous life.
This ink, it drips like blood upon this empty stationery.

Where has passion gone and where does inspiration bloom it’s petals full of delicate illusions?
Fool me with your words that pierce through my chest and slither through my veins.

Take me by the hand, and kiss me on my neck.
Your lips so hot, it sets my body ablaze.

Teach me how to love
and I’ll show you what I’ve learned in exchange.

Emotions cannot be expressed through words
by a mere newcomer as myself.

I’m sorry that I let you down once more.
But I shall feel the same forever more.

Random poem

March 14, 2009

I was bored and I felt like writing a poem so ta-da:

It’s two in the morning and I’m still waiting
Though I know that you’ll never come.
And I feel that you left me and I think that you’re dating
some girl with a foreign tongue.

Does it feel good hearing her laugh to your jokes?
I’m sure I can do the same.
I understand that you don’t feel love, too.
And you are not to blame.

But I’m out here sitting on an old park bench
in the midst of the pouring rain.
You don’t feel any guilt or think about me
Nor aware that I’m feeling pain.

It’s not that I like to hurt myself.
It’s nothing like that, oh no.
I just didn’t mean that to you I’d fall
not so many moons ago.

I don’t know if I should feel happy or sad today. Let’s call this emotion “nothing”. :)

Hanna

[Update]

I made another. It’s a quick one so it’s short.

I just do this because you’re doing it, too.
I just wanna be super fantastic like you.

And maybe we won’t end up together.
But if I want your attention, it’s now or never.

Opportunities don’t knock very often
So I always hang round by the door.

I feel good when you knock but
feel sad when you don’t

’cause without you, my life is a bore.

Friday the 13th!

March 13, 2009

Guess what? Today is my birthday! :D And today is also Friday the 13th. ;) The 2nd of this year, actually. We had Friday the 13th last February.

I have revolved around the Sun once more. Hoorah! :)

I was supposed to meet him today after school but my friends obviously didn’t care and wanted to go home early. I had to think quick and panicked. (again…) -_-” I chose to leave early and walk home with my friends. He came a few minutes after we left. :(

We haven’t talked in days. This is just sad.

Good day, overall. I just wish that he could’ve been a part of it. I bet my day would be wonderful if he had a role for today’s tale. He could’ve made my day but I just had to ruin it with another bad decision.

Conclusion: Panicking results to bad decisions since the choices are not thought through.

[update]

I was so tired that I lost my mind for a while and wrote this:

I still remember it like it was just last night.
In fact it was so many moons ago.

You stared at me and I stared back
then looked away to add to the suspense as I always do to make men think about me.

I was wrong.

They let me through the gates and you were left behind.
Oh what thrill you’ve left that’s going through my mind.

As the ballroom swayed, the moonlight striked the chandeliers
and we moved so gracefully across the marble floor.

You made me skip a heart beat. You took my breath away.
You made me search for your caress. You made me long for more.

The way you held my hand so gently made me so afraid.
Afraid that if you’d let me go, this bliss will be gone for good.

As the ballroom swayed, the moonlight striked the chandeliers
and on this marble floor, across each lover stood.

I don’t want to meet you only in my dreams.
This fantasy is ongoing and it must come true.
I hope that if by chance I wake, I’ll wake up next to you.

Crazy Day

March 10, 2009

This is going to be long so I’ll start off with what happened first in my day. (Other than the usual morning ritual. xD)

Morning ritual – bathing, eating breakfast, changing clothes, brushing of teeth and so on.

I’ll just say some things that happened in each class so this post will seem shorter. xD

School

Math class
We went to the Math center which was the room next to our classroom. We had a review test which was more fun than the usual ones. Math is great at my school. It was like a quiz bee except the class is divided to 5 groups. Our leader couldn’t answer any of the questions. Some leader he is. The leaders are supposed to be the best students in Math. I answered all the questions and it felt great knowing that I helped my group from getting last place, LOL.

Filipino (Language) Class
Almost nobody brought the book our teacher told us to bring. Only very few people brought the book. I know 3 people who did. She made us get a blank sheet of paper and write a summary of the story she told us to read. I didn’t read the story but I found a summary of the story at the back of the book. (that my seatmate brought) So I copied the summary from the book but changed some words and added my opinions and such then passed it. Woohoo. ;P

Science Class
I was drawing then my teacher approached me and we did “the usual”. She caught me drawing again and said, “Hanna, you’re drawing again! Tsk tsk.” with the same facial expression then I would smile and close my drawing notebook. But this time was different. Instead of turning away and back to the chalk board, she gave me a comic book then told me to read it.

Then she held another copy in the air and said, “Who else can speak English fluently? Anyone? I want one who can answer questions in English. There will be an interview soon. I don’t want one who has bad grammar.” So everyone starts shouting my name and looking at me then my teacher replies, “I already gave her a copy. Anyone else?” and my classmates replied with other names. Oh the joys of feeling special inside. :)

Recess

My friends and I ate like we usually did. While we were eating, the Mayor came and walked right in the middle of the campus. A lot of students started standing up in surprise. This is the first time I saw the mayor in person. There were a lot of body guards and some other people and a couple of camera man.

Suddenly, this camera man went near my friends and I. I hid behind my cousin and then I, out of the blue, jumped out and held my hands up doing the Rock sign. xD I also noticed that I’m taller than the mayor. I told my friends and we all laughed then we told more jokes about the mayor, the president and other officials. The mayor walked around and up the 2nd floor then came back down and left.

MAPEH (Music, Art, P.E. and Health.)

We had a unit test. (I didn’t study and passed, rofl.) I finished the test early. I just guessed on the questions that I didn’t know the answers to. So while I was waiting for the rest of the class to finish, I took my drawing notebook and started doodling.

I didn’t notice that my teacher was walking to our row. He saw me drawing and I got surprised. I closed my notebook and smiled like I usually do then he said, “You really like to draw don’t you?” He took my notebook and started flipping the pages one by one, looking at each drawing. While he was looking at my drawings, he said “Wow. You know you should…” and paused there then continued, “…Yeah you really like drawing, haha.”

It was a new notebook so there were only very few pages with drawings. None of my teachers have seen the first drawing notebook I got. It’s jam packed with random things in my mind that I drew. Mostly my characters, some letterings, rocketships, boats, clouds and the lot.

English

Our English teacher isn’t the one teaching us today. The English teachers had this thing called ‘Rotation’ where they were assigned to other class than their own. It started last Friday. The English teachers are doing this to train us for the upcoming Division Achievement Test.

The teacher that watched us for today was Ma’am Castillo. I heard she’s very nice but when she gets to our class, she shouts and stuff. I guess it’s because we’re noisy and she wants us to behave. She gave our test papers and we started answering. I finished first. There was a lot of time left and everyone else was still answering so I took out my drawing notebook and started drawing again.

The teacher was walking around the classroom, looking if we’re answering, done or copying from our seatmates. :P She saw me drawing. I didn’t notice at first because my mind was obviously set to something else. Then she started walking around the row where I was. And later on, she would stand behind me or next to my seatmate or passing by me, looking over my shoulder. And the last time she passed by, she lowered herself a bit and actually looked right at my drawing.

I got startled and immediately closed the notebook. (It’s sort of a reflex since I always close my notebook when I know a teacher is looking.)

T.L.E. (Technology and Livelihood Education)

Today, our teacher reviewed us on Isometric drawings. She didn’t teach it to us before so we had to learn by ourselves as she reviewed us. She let us raise our hands and she would call on us to draw a view of an object she would show the class. At first we couldn’t answer since none of us were taught about this particular topic but as the lesson went on, more students raised their hands begging for a chance to participate.

Dismissal

In dismissal time, we were going down the stairs and I looked by the gate to see if he was there. He wasn’t. I was disappointed since I thought he was absent again. (He was absent yesterday.)

I just kept the thought going through my mind, thinking if he was sick or if he was okay. Then I kept on walking with my cousin. When we got to the upper part of the street (the streets are kind of like slopes here, lol.) and past the corner, my cousin said, “Look, It’s Rebecca!” (a friend that is in the same section as him.) and then she continued, “Wow isn’t that Lars?”

At last, his name has been revealed!

I saw him sitting there next to Rebecca a few seconds before she mentioned he was there but I kept on walking because I felt so nervous and shy. I seriously didn’t know what to do. I knew that he was there because he wanted to meet me but something inside of me said, “Run for the hills! The adept doesn’t have eyes for imperfection.”

I felt like a truck was coming towards me and I just stood there in shock. I lost my mind and couldn’t think straight so I just kept on walking. Rebecca was calling me but I dared not respond nor look back. Finally, she shouted, “Look, there she is! That’s Hanna!”

I knew that he would look to where I was. I knew that what she said would attract more attention. And I felt even more nervous than before and walked faster. Finally, I came to my senses and said to myself, “This may me my only chance to get to meet the guy. I can’t screw it up now.” I turned around to go back but it was too late. He already stood up and walked away.

Rebecca and my cousin got together and waited for the others so we could all walk home together like we always do. I stood there feeling sorry for myself. I knew what I did was stupid and I hope this happened because we’ll meet in a more special way in the near future.

We all went to the usual place where we would hang out. The waiting shed. We sat there and talked, played games when we were bored and bought drinks when the sun was at its highest. I would, every now and then, cover my face with my hands and weep in my mind. I would sigh so loudly and my friends would know why. Especially Rebecca since she knew that Lars wanted to meet me. I knew as well but I didn’t know this would be the day.

It sucks even more since there’s no school tomorrow. I never thought that I would actually look forward to school until I met him. She said that he stood up for a second and wanted to shake my hand but I ignored them. And my cousin said that when he sat back down, he looked the other way and tried to hide his smile. The same way I hid my smile but looking away from them.

I could have held his hand. I was just too scared to open my eyes and see the opportunities he was giving me. Sigh… :( Despite doing something I’m really sad about right now, this was still a great day. Today is by far, the craziest day I have ever experienced in my entire life.

Random Things

March 9, 2009

Things for today.

People have become nicer all of a sudden. Is it the same for you?

I’ve become closer with the new people in my life. Just when the school year is ending. :( But at least it happened. And in Math class, I wasn’t paying much attention so I couldn’t understand the lesson. Then our Math teacher made us try to answer an equation ourselves. So we were all answering and I was having a hard time figuring it out because I was drawing.

Then my Math teacher walks around, stands next to me and watches me do my work. I didn’t dare to look up knowing he was there. I have this “unwritten rule of Hanna” that states that you cannot befriend or even be friendly with a teacher. It sickens me. School is strictly business in my world. You may wonder why ‘looking up’ is being ‘friendly’. Well, I don’t know either. xD But I just don’t want to get too close.

Anyway… Enough drama. Back to the story. So I was answering it, following the equations he taught before (that I copied and semi-listened to) and then he starts helping me. He used to do it to my cousin (we’re classmates. Lucky, I know. xD) And it’s a sign that he feels that the student is working hard to improve. (which I am doing since I suck at math because of my terrible past math teachers) I was happy about it. It made me feel like my hard work is paying off. :D

Other than that, when I got home I played metal music with my speakers plugged and in full blast. My dad was sleeping in the next room. He didn’t wake up, lol. He woke up when I played another song but he wasn’t mad. I thought he was going to be because he usually is but he wasn’t. Then a few hours after that, he asked if I did my homework yet and I said ‘No.’ and he just kindly asked me to do it unlike the usual “DO UR HW NAO OR ELSE!!!1” He’s also been nicer long before today.

People have been nicer lately. I feel happy about this and I hope this never changes. Less nagging equals less irritation. Hoorah!

More stuff

The news today is sick.

Three women got raped, an old man got hit and run and a gay teacher was killed thrown to a river. Let’s talk about the women that got raped.

The first girl was walking then a driver offered her a free ride home. She accepted, thinking that it was just a generous offer and that she would arrive home safely. The driver took her somewhere else, raped her, hurt her then put her in a sack and threw her away. Someone heard her screaming so she was discovered and rushed to the hospital. She may heal physically but I know this will scar her for the rest of her life. :(

The second girl is a college girl. She has been raped by her professor from 2006 to 2008 and she hasn’t reported him before because she was being blackmailed with sex videos that the professor had been taking while raping her. He was threatening to send it to everyone. She finally reported it today.

The third girl is a 6 year old girl that was raped by her 13 year old neighbor. The boy was threatening to kill her and since the girl was young, she was foolish enough to believe it and just went along to risk herself getting killed. The mother found out and they’re having a hard time sending the rapist to jail because the rapist is underage.

Now, the old man that almost got mauled. An old man was crossing the street when a car suddenly hit him and it was going to fast that the driver probably didn’t notice that the old man went flying through the air. I bet it the driver was racing. I’d love to do that one day, excluding the people getting harmed. I like old people for some reason. :)

Lastly, the gay teacher that got killed and thrown in a river. I didn’t pay much attention but I think this is what happened: The gay teacher had fights with his boyfriend because his boyfriend found out that he had other relationships. A third, or more. So the guy hit him hard with a bottle and threw him in a river. They found the gay guy’s rotting body today, floating around. I feel bad for the kids out there that have been playing and swimming in the same river. Hope they didn’t swallow any water. :P

LOL EVEN MOAR xD

That’s about it. Oh and we’re waiting for an announcement if there will be classes on Wednesday or not. I hope not because on Wednesdays, we have Values class where they teach us good manners and right conduct. I don’t mind taking the class but the problem is, our values teacher herself doesn’t have any values. Everyone in my class hates her.

Last year, she gave us a punishment and after a few months my dad informed me that the punishment she gave us has long been banned by the Department of Education. He also told me that I can sue her for that. But whatever, she’ll get what she deserves.

And before vacation, she last told us not to have premarital sex. Guess what? When we resumed classes, she was pregnant with her first baby. She was fucked by a Japanese guy in a beach, or so I’ve heard. Horny jap went boogie bang bang on the slut. Oh the irony.

See ya.

Bored again today. It’s Friday at my place, woohoo! Well, not a very happy “woohoo!” since I like school. Today at school, it was the usual. We had a lot of review tests though since we’re having our Periodical exam soon. Dismissal time was the best. He was looking for me. ;) I could tell since I can see him looking everywhere for me all the way from the stairway as my classmates and I were walking downstairs to go home. When I got nearer, I hid my face and pretended not to see him, haha. Enough about this mushy stuff, Valentine’s Day is long over. :P

Anyway…

Zipo, is right as usual. I shouldn’t treat blogging like it’s my job. Blogging is just something I happen to like and happen to do every now and then. I’ll be more carefree next time.

Didn’t do much after school, really. My friends and I went to hang out like we usually do. We brought drinks and talked like always. Then we thought of playing basketball. My other friend’s 7 year old brother was scoring a lot. He totally pwn’d his 13 year old brother, haha. Anyway, it’s late and I’m at my room. Just typing here since I got tired of drawing.

Now let’s talk about school. (Switching topics is all the rage. )

In my place, if you go to a school that let’s you stay there for the whole day, you get recess and lunch. But if you go to a school that only lets you stay half-day, (like my school) you only get recess.

I used to go to a school where we stay for the whole day. It’s: 3 subjects, recess, 2 subjects, lunch, 3 subjects then dismissal. So we have 8 subjects each day and we get to eat twice. But it’s for 7 hours and 30 minutes. (Except in high school since they get 8 hours and 30 minutes. I don’t know why though since I moved after graduating from Elementary.)

In my new school its: 3 subjects, recess, 3 subjects then dismissal. We get 6 subjects a day and we only stay in school for 6 hours. It’s an hour for each subject. We don’t get the same subjects all the time since we have 8 subjects in total. We only get values education on Wednesdays. That’s a good thing too since our Values teacher doesn’t have any good traits at all. She’s a witch.

What’s it like at your school?
